FOR THE BREADING

Corn starch – 2 tbsp. or potato
Baking soda – 1/4 tsp.
Baking powder – 1/4 tsp.
Salt
Garlic powder – 1/2 tsp.
Onion powder – 1/2 tsp.

For this breaded cauliflower, wash the cauliflower head under running water, then tear it into bite-sized florets, removing the large stem in the center of the head. Blanch the cauliflower florets briefly in boiling water.
For the breading, put the dry ingredients – flour, starch, soda, baking powder, garlic, onion powder, salt and turmeric in a medium-sized bowl.
Add the water and mix everything until it becomes a smooth paste.
Place the cauliflower florets in the breading and toss until well coated.
Fry in hot oil for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
Immediately remove from the oil and place on a plate lined with kitchen paper.
Breaded cauliflower is served hot.
